EV charging infrastructure demand response dataset: integrated operational and market data from Jeju island

This dataset presents an integrated dataset from 873 public EV charging stations in Jeju Island participating in Korea's Plus DR program, encompassing two-year operational data (2021-2022) with 15-minute interval load measurements, contract specifications, geographical locations, and 77 hours of demand response event records covering 113 renewable curtailment mitigation events. The dataset enables critical analyses for grid operators and policymakers including mobility sector demand increase capability evaluation, charging station multi-revenue potential assessment, grid integration impact estimation, and renewable curtailment mitigation effectiveness analysis. This provides empirical foundations for developing policy and market operation frameworks for transportation-power sector integration, supporting evidence-based decision-making for researchers and policymakers globally facing similar renewable integration challenges.
