The LabelMe 12-50k dataset is an object recognition dataset that comprises a total of 50,000 JPEG-format images. Of these, 40,000 are allocated as training data and 10,000 as test data, with all images sourced from the LabelMe website. Each image has a fixed resolution of 256 × 256 pixels. For 50% of the images, there is a single centered object belonging to one of 12 predefined object categories. The remaining 50% of the images consist of randomly cropped regions from arbitrary images.
