SDG 16.4.2 Components Used to Calculate the Proportion of Seized Arms Whose Illicit Origin or Context Has Been Traced

This dataset shows the number of arms behind each component used to calculate the proportion of seized, found or surrendered arms whose illicit origin or context has been traced by a competent authority in the State of Qatar over the period from 2016 to 2021. Components A, B and C count the arms traced through the national register, through a foreign register and through a competent authority, and their sum forms the numerator D. Component I is the denominator and counts the arms that could potentially be traced. Components E to H, which cover attempted or pending tracing, carry no recorded cases in any year and are therefore not included.
