Roots of Solanum lycopersicum (cv. Auspicio) plants, grown in controlled hydroponics conditions, were treated with humic acids or sterile compost tea. Root samples were collected both from control (non-inoculated) and treated plants at 24, 48 and 72 hours after treatment. RNA was extracted from 18 samples (6x3 biological replicates) and sequenced in a single-end (read length = 101 bp) mode on an Illumina HiSeq 1500 platform.
