Effects of temperature and hypoxia on groundwater shrimps

This dataset contains individual-level measurements of oxygen consumption obtained under controlled experimental conditions designed to evaluate the effects of temperature and oxygen availability on metabolic rates. Oxygen consumption was measured repeatedly for each individual and subsequently averaged to obtain a single mean value per individual for each experimental condition. The experimental design includes two temperature treatments (27 and 30 °C), three oxygen availability treatments (hyperoxia, normoxia and hypoxia) and two activity conditions (routine and maximum metabolic rate). The dataset therefore, represents mean oxygen consumption rates for each individual across all combinations of temperature, oxygen and activity conditions. The dataset includes the following variables: individual identifier, oxygen treatment, temperature treatment, activity treatment and mean oxygen consumption rate. This dataset is part of the research supporting the manuscript entitled “Effects of temperature and hypoxia on groundwater shrimps”.
