This repository contains the code, processed datasets, spatial data, IMAU-FDM profiles, and QGIS project used in the manuscript “Inferring Effective Firn Grain Size across Antarctic Ice Shelves from ASCAT Observations”. The study presents a framework for inferring an effective firn grain-size parameter across Antarctic ice shelves using 15 years (2007–2021) of C-band ASCAT observations coupled with IMAU-FDM and the SMRT model. The repository includes workflows for figure generation, optimization experiments, targeted perturbation analysis, and Larsen-B spatial verification.
