Cramahe Township database used for the book Tenants in Time

The basic aim of the project was to identify owners and tenants on the 1842 census of Cramahe Township and trace these individuals backwards and forwards in time. This dataset forms the foundation of Chapters 8 and 9 and most of the tables in Appendix B of the book Tenants in Time: Family Strategies, Land, and Liberalism in Upper Canada, 1799-1871.
