Polarized SANS will be performed to disclose the Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction (DMI) induced by the high-density of crystal defects in ferromagnets strained via high-pressure torsion (HPT). Supported by micromagnetic theory, the properties and structural parameters of the defect-induced DMI are estimated from the analysis of polarization-dependent chiral scattering patterns. The obtained results will provide a novel approach to control spin textures via the DMI.
