This dataset provides lithology distribution data for eight provinces and municipalities in Southwest China, namely Yunnan, Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou, Guangxi, Guangdong, Hunan and Hubei. It is developed to support field survey site selection and regional scale expansion. With a total data volume of 106 MB, the dataset includes information such as lithology, symbols, lithologic groups and characteristic descriptions.
