Genotype distribution of offspring from heterozygous Tas1r1 mating pairs.

Breeding was carried out on a heterozygote-heterozygote base and the numbers of pubs of each genotype were determined [number of pubs; observed]. The percentage of each genotype from the total number of pubs is given in parentheses. The expected Mendelian distribution ratios [number of pubs; expected] and the p-value of the chi square test are given on the right. Note that for a total of 60 litters with 427 offspring of 15 heterozygous Tas1r1 breeding pairs, no significant deviation from the distribution predicted from Mendel's law was observed applying the chi square test (p≤0.05).
