Discrete Choice Experiment data on preferences of the general public and working carers in the Netherlands for policies to support working carers

<p>This dataset contains the data that was collected for a discrete choice experiment (DCE) on the preferences of the general public and working carers for policies to support working carers.</p>
<p><span>Data was collected among 1) a sample of the general public in the Netherlands, which includes a sub-sample of working carers, recruited through the commercial panel organisation Dynata, and 2) a purposive, self-selection sample of working carers recruited through the social media channels and newsletters of informal caregiver networks.&nbsp;</span><span>Data was collected using an online questionnaire, which was identical for working carers and other members of the general public, consisting of questions on background characteristics, (an explanation of) the DCE-task and evaluation questions on how participants perceived conducting the DCE-task.</span></p>
<p><span>The DCE design was D-efficient and consisted of 36 choice tasks in 3 blocks. A dual-response design was used. The dataset has been uploaded together with the DCE design. </span></p>
