River discharge to the Guadiana Estuary

River discharge data (m3/s) from March 2008 to April 2014. The discharge data were derived from hydrographic stations of the Portuguese Water Institute (INAG): Pulo de Lobo, Ponte Quintos and Pedrogao. The startions are located 20 to 50 km from the head of the Guadiana Estuary, representing about 80 % of the river inputs to the estuary. Ponte Quintos and Pedrogao are representative of the discharge from the Pedrogao/Alqueva dam complex, while Pulo de Lobo is located further downstream and is also sensitive to local rain events
