To clarify the mechnism that grass-fed and grain-fed regimens inducing the different characteristics of Wyu Angus cattle, we used high-throughput sequencing and metabolomics analysis to explore differentially expressed genes , differentially expressed miRNAs and lnRNAs, meanwhile constructed importantly regulatory networks. Liver samples of steers with grass-fed and grain-fed from Wye Angus farm were collected, sequenced and analyzed with each group 3 individuals when they reached market weight (about 14 months old for steers with grain-fed and 21 months old for steers with grass-fed).
