The 18S and 28S rRNA dataset comprises sequences of flatworm egg capsule (INSD accession numbers LC909289, 18S; LC909288, 28S) examined in a submitted paper entitled "Abyssal cradle: flatworm egg capsules on a deep-sea sea spider, with an integrative redescription of Ascorhynchus mariae Turpaeva, 1971" and 31 trigonostomid and five adenorhynchid (outgroup) taxa."Sup.S1_Trigonostomidae_E_001_18S_mafft.fasta" and "Sup.S2_Trigonostomidae_E_001_28S_mafft.fasta" are ones that were aligned by using the Q-INS-i strategy in MAFFT ver. 7."Sup.S3_Trigonostomidae_E_001_18S_mafft_Gblocks_Cleaned_sequences_Short.fas" and "Sup.S4_Trigonostomidae_E_001_28S_mafft_Gblocks_Cleaned_sequences_Short.fas" represent the trimmed version of two files above; they were trimmed in MEGA7 to match the shortest length.The latter two files were used for a ML analysis in Sekiguchi & Kakui
