- Pediatric institutions have the highest proportion of specialty utilization across several categories, like Stanford with the highest proportion of Primary Care / General Peds or Nemours with the highest proportion of Nephrology. - The most utilized specialties across both labs and prescriptions were Primary Care / General Peds, Nephrology, Cardiology, and Other/Unknown. There is high heterogeneity in these categories, with a wide range of visit proportions across sites. - Some notable findings are that Lurie has a high proportion of Emergency Medicine specialty utilization compared to other sites, Nationwide is one of the only sites with Hematology interaction, and UFlorida has a high proportion of Palliative Care utilization.
