Adults: Main sanction according to type and duration

This dataset presents the annual figures of main sanctions imposed on adults by criminal authority (cantonal, federal or military court), type of punishment (including form of enforcement), duration of the penalty, law [Swiss Criminal Code (SCC), Road Traffic Act (RTA), Foreigners and Integration Act (FNIA) or Narcotics Act (NarcA)] and a selection of offenses [ Theft (art. 139 SCC), Violent robbery (art. 140 SCC), Bodily harm (art. 123 SCC), Rape (art. 190 SCC), Serious or certified serious violation of road traffic regulations (art. 90 para.2 and 3 RTA), Driving a motor vehicle in a certified state of inebriation (art. 91 para.2 let.a RTA)] and the year of the conviction, since 2007.
