The TriALS Challenge focuses on liver lesion segmentation in multi-phase CT scans, with particular emphasis on the potential of non-contrast CT scans. The challenge aims to establish a benchmark for liver tumor segmentation under conditions where access to contrast agents is restricted, and demonstrate the utility of multi-phase data in enhancing the detection and identification of lesions. The dataset is sourced from Ain Shams University Hospitals in Cairo, Egypt, and includes contrast-enhanced and non-contrast-enhanced abdominal CT scans from adult patients aged 18 years and older.
