Canadian Gallup Poll, May 1985, #497_2

This Gallup poll seeks the opinions of Canadians, on various social issues such as smoking, the ideal number of kids to have, organized religion and the cost of food. The respondents were also asked questions so that they could be grouped according to geographical and political variables. Topics of interest include: attending church; the average amount of money spent on food in a week; the ideal number of kids to have in a family; the impact of organized religion on everyday life; the percentage of adults who smoke; and smoking cigarettes in the past week. Basic demographic variables are also included.
