Survey of Labour Party Members, 1997 and 1999

This study continued previous research by the principal investigators, last conducted in 1989-1990. It is a follow-up survey with a panel design analysing political activism, attitudes to issues, attitudes to party organisation, values and social background characteristics.<br> The earlier survey in the series, 'Study of The Labour Party Membership, December 1989 - May 1990', is held at the UK Data Archive under SN:2920. The same investigators have also conducted a similar study of the Conservative Party, 'Survey of Conservative Party Members, 1992', held under SN:3286.
