We propose 294 ks XMM-Newton EPIC observations on 15 X-ray luminous galaxyclusters detected in the first eROSITA All Sky Survey and are in the footprintsof Sunyaev-Zeldovich (SZ) surveys but without SZ detections. The m500 of the 15clusters scaled from X-ray luminosities are all and amp gt 6e14 Msol which lie in a highcompleteness range of the two SZ surveys addressing questions relating to thecompleteness and selection biases in SZ and X-ray surveys. We will use theproposed data to obtain hydrostatic mass to investigate the selection biases inSZ and X-ray surveys and their impact on cosmology studies. Moreover we willalso measure other thermodynamic properties to explore the origins of SZnon-detections and discover new strong cool core clusters. [truncated!
