Bank of Russia foreign exchange and gold assets share 2021-2022, by type

The share of Russian Central Bank's gold assets reached 21.5 percent of total foreign exchange and gold reserves as of January 1, 2022. Among different currencies, the largest share of reserves was in euros, at almost 34 percent. The portion of assets in U.S. dollars was below 11 percent, having nearly halved from one year prior.
