资源简介:
This dataset contains baseline and demographic data from a study investigating momentary associations between social contact, pain, and distress among women living with HIV (WLWH) who experience persistent pain.Data were collected prior to the 14-day ecological momentary assessment (EMA) phase from 40 participants recruited across three HIV clinics in London. The dataset includes:Sociodemographic information: age, ethnicity, education, employment, relationship status, and living arrangements.HIV-related variables: duration since diagnosis, treatment status, and viral suppression.Pain characteristics: pain duration, primary pain site, pain medication use, and pain-related interference.Psychological and social variables: standardized self-report measures of mood, distress, and perceived social support. The sample was predominantly Black African women with an average age of 55.98 years. These baseline data provide critical context for interpreting the EMA findings, allowing for exploration of between-person differences in pain experience, psychosocial functioning, and social context.Researchers may find this dataset valuable for examining demographic and clinical predictors of pain and distress, as well as for methodological replication or integration into multimodal analyses of psychosocial influences on health outcomes in WLWH.
