Illumina high throughput RNA sequencing using embryonic day embryonic day 9.5 mouse heart tissues. RNA was extracted from E9.5 mice heart tissues from control (Rbfox2flox/flox), Rbfox2-HetCKO (Rbfox2lox/+, Nkx2.5Cre/+) and Rbfox2-CKO (Rbfox2flox/flox, Nkx2.5Cre/+; two hearts per group, from two different litters) using TRIzol (#15596018, Invitrogen) according to the manufacturer's protocol. RNA quality was assessed by Agilent Bioanalyzer and quantified using Qubit Fluorometer by the Next Generation Sequencing Core Facility at UTMB. Sequencing libraries were prepared, and 75-base paired-end sequencing was performed using an Illumina NextSeq 550 system.
