Whole genome short-read sequencing of wild house mice from Faroe islands and Norway

Whole genomes of wild-caught house mice from three Faroe islands and mainland Norway were sequenced using Illumina NovaSeq pair-end sequencing platform. The dataset was used to infer the ancestries of the mice, to infer the demographic history of the island mice and to identify loci contributing to the adaptation of the island mice.
