Alistipes putredinis protects DSS-induced colitis through mediating immune tolerance

Alistipes putredinis can alleviate DSS-induced colitis in mice, but the mechanism is unknown. The aim of this study was to examine the changes in gene expression in the intestinal tissue of mice with colitis following treatment with Alistipes putredinis by RNA sequencing. To clarify the role of Alistipes putredinis in colitis, We treated dextran sulfate sodium salt (DSS)-induced mice with Alistipes putredinis. The body weight, disease activity index (DAI), Colon length and colon tissue H&E staining was used to evaluate the severity of colitis. In mice, we compared the severity of colitis between DSS and DSS+AP groups and randomly selected four mice from each group for RNA sequencing analysis.
