第五次人口普查公报——浙江

根据国务院的决定，我国于2000年11月进行了第五次全国人口普查。在国务院、省政府和地方各级政府的统一领导下，在全省广大人民群众的密切支持配合下，经过全省23万多名普查工作人员的艰苦努力，如期完成了人口普查的登记任务。

Pursuant to the decision of the State Council, China conducted its Fifth National Population Census in November 2000. Under the unified leadership of the State Council, provincial people's governments and local governments at all levels, with the close support and cooperation of the broad masses of the people across the province, and through the arduous efforts of more than 230,000 census workers in the province, the census registration work was successfully completed as scheduled.
