In vivo gene expression analysis of C elegans in response to rifampicin

We have discovered rifampicin as a glycation inhibitor, which increases life span in C elegans. In order to understand the mechanism of rifampicin action, microarray analysis was performed to study the changes in gene expression brought about by the drug.我们发现利福平（rifampicin）可作为糖基化抑制剂，能够延长秀丽隐杆线虫（C. elegans）的寿命。为阐明利福平的作用机制，我们通过基因芯片分析（microarray analysis）研究了该药物诱导的基因表达变化。
