Winter Bird Counts at SERC.

Volunteers (# Range: 7-22) walked and drove through 4 areas (70 km2 site size) around SERC property and recorded the number of each species of bird that they saw. Most observations were done between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm on one day in the middle of winter (usually in Jan.). Surveys were conducted in 1982, 1983, 1989-2000 so far.
