These datasets include historical trade data, focusing on the imports of vegetable oils and fats to the Netherlands between 1910 and 2023. Data sources include data between 1962 and 2023 from the UN COMTRADE database (https://comtradeplus.un.org), as well as archival material from the Dutch statistics office (CBS Historisch 1910-1939) and from the Dutch National Archive (specifically from the Productschap Margarine, Vetten en Oliën 1947-1961).
