Employment in transport manufacturing in Iceland 2015-2020

Transportation manufacturing plays a relatively small role in the Icelandic economy and has been on an overall downward trend. In 2020, 49 people were employed in the manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers, and semi-trailers and 67 people were employed in the manufacture of other transport equipment, which includes boat and ship building.
