Micelio, plataforma para la investigación UCA

Micelio is a platform developed by the Universidad Centroamericana (UCA) in El Salvador to gather and showcase the institutonal research information. Its name arises as a metaphor for the mycelium network through which different biological organisms within an ecosystem interact and communicate with each other. Under this concept, the UCA aims to strengthen the collaborative work between researchers and research networks. The ultimate goals of this platform are to showcase the institutional research output to the outside academic world and to highlight the relevance of the scientific knowledge exchange in one single network: Micelio.
