in the current study, we compared the bacterial community in the rumen, duodenum, jejunum, ileum, cecum, and colon of growth-retarded and normal yaks based on the bacterial 16S rRNA gene sequencing, to improve our understanding about the role of microflora in the nutrition and metabolism of yaks and provide new insights into scientific management by regulating the microbial community of growth-retarded animals.
