Metagenomic sequencing undiagnosed patient samples

Our project aims to perform metagenomic sequencing on human patient samples to analyze the vast array of microorganisms residing in the human body. Leveraging advanced Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies, we will identify and characterize the full spectrum of microbial communities, including bacteria, viruses, fungi, and other microorganisms. This research will provide deep insights into the complex interactions between these microbes and their human hosts, highlighting their roles in health and disease. The resulting data will be crucial for understanding microbial contributions to various medical conditions, developing targeted therapies, and advancing personalized medicine. Our ultimate objective is to improve patient outcomes through a precise and comprehensive understanding of the human microbiome and its impact on health.
