PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent blow-back at the time of drying and perform coloration excellent in designability. SOLUTION: A floor material is manufactured， on a base material for floor including a decorative layer having a thickness of 1.0 mm or more on at least a surface layer， (1) a recess formation step of subjecting the surface of the decorative layer to uneven processing to form a plurality of recesses， (2) a first coloration step of applying a first coloring paint onto the surface where the plurality of recesses are formed to cure the first coloring paint， (3) a sanding step of sanding the colored surface， (4) a groove processing step of forming a vertical groove-scheduled part on the sanded surface， and (5) a second coloring step of applying a second coloring paint onto the surface where the vertical groove-scheduled part is formed， and bringing a brush roll into contact with the surface where the second coloring paint is applied to cure the second coloring paint.
