PARASHOOT is the first modern Hebrew question answering dataset developed by Tel Aviv University. It contains approximately 3,000 annotated examples, with data sourced from randomly sampled Hebrew Wikipedia paragraphs. During the dataset creation process, a crowdsourcing approach similar to SQuAD was adopted, where questions and answers were written by native Hebrew speakers. PARASHOOT aims to advance the development of Hebrew natural language understanding technologies, particularly in the field of question answering systems.
