Soil acidity (low pH) negatively affects plant growth and crop productivity. In this study, the transcriptomic data between an acidity-tolerant (Khijur Jhopa Dhan) and an acidity-sensitive (Jhilli Dhan) rice cultivar were compared under low pH stress conditions (pH 6.5 and pH 4.5). Our results provide a valuable resource on low pH responsive genes and would benefit the improvement of low pH stress tolerance in rice.
