The present subject matter provides a method of binding a book， and a machine to carry out the method and the book thereof. The method provides a book such that such that the pages lay flat when the book is opened. The method provides window-cutting a slit (11) and and punching holes (14) on each page (10). The holes (14) are punched at a predetermined interval in a manner such that for the first half of the plurality of pages (10) have the holes (14) at a regular reducing distance from a spine (12) and for the second half of the plurality of the pages (10) have the holes (14) at a regular increasing distance from the spine (12) resulting in a V-shaped spine. The holes (14) are located on space between the spine (12) and the slit(11). The V-shaped spine is obtained by aligning the holes (14) of the plurality of pages (10).
