Conducted at the Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center, 31 patients with confirmed dacryocystitis were enrolled. Lacrimal sac secretions were collected during endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy (En-DCR) and analyzed using both tNGS and conventional bacterial cultures.
