16S rRNA amplions from karst caves

Karst regions have enormous underground spaces, including cracks, fissures, voids, and caves. The caves, with its human-accessible entrance, is an ideal place to study these spaces. To study the biodiversity patterns of cave microbial communities, samples from three habitats (rock, soil, speleothem) in two caves located in the karst areas of southern China were collected during the transition from the dry season to the rainy season.
