VPRS 17979 Index to Reception Book

This series comprises of an index to Reception and Discharge Books (VPRS 17964). The index is arranged alphabetically by trainee surname and then by Reception Number, e.g. 1/78 2/78 etc. The suffix refers to the calendar year in which the trainee was received into Langi Kal Kal. This information can be used to access the Reception and Discharge Books which are arranged chronologically by date.Information includes the trainee's name in the left hand column and the circumstances of departure in the right hand column, e.g. Discharged, paroled, transferred to Turana etc.
