Madhya Pradesh has a unique identity as the soya producing state of India. It produces 54% of the total production of soya in the country.The western and north-western parts of Madhya Pradesh are major soya producing areas. Comparatively, eastern and southern parts of Madhya Pradesh produce very little of it.Good and substantial production of soybean has increased the number of soya processing industries in the state.
