Global Glacier Debris Thickness Estimates and Sub-Debris Melt Factors, Version 1

This data set includes spatially distributed estimates of the debris thickness and sub-debris melt enhancement factors for every debris-covered glacier in the Randolph Glacier Inventory Version 6, excluding the ice sheets and Antarctic Periphery. The debris thickness estimates are derived using a novel approach that uses a combination of sub-debris melt inversion and surface temperature inversion methods. The sub-debris melt enhancement factors are estimated from the debris thickness using debris thickness-melt curves normalized by estimates of the clean-ice melt.本数据集包含第六版兰多夫冰川目录（Randolph Glacier Inventory）中所有被冰碛物覆盖的冰川的空间分布冰碛物厚度估算值与冰碛物下融冰增强因子（sub-debris melt enhancement factors），研究范围排除冰盖与南极周边区域。冰碛物厚度的估算值采用融合冰碛物下融冰反演（sub-debris melt inversion）与地表温度反演（surface temperature inversion）的新颖方法推导得到。冰碛物下融冰增强因子则以冰碛物厚度为基础，结合以洁净冰融水（clean-ice melt）估算值为基准归一化的冰碛物厚度-融量关系曲线完成估算。
