PLCI 2.0 Supplementary data

This archive contains data used in the development of the PLCI 2.0 model. Included are input datasets for the model, at the NUTS0, NUTS1, NUTS2, and NUTS3 levels. Included are also calculated data on the maximum crop P uptake, 'AlphaMax', for use in Michaelis Menten equation to estimate crop P uptake for the EU countries. AlphaMax was calculated based on the average crop yields and crop P content from Helin and Weikard (2019), weighted by the areal coverage of the crops (FAOSTAT, 2020). The EU average crop yields of several crops are included (average of 10 years, from 2011 to 2020) (FAOSTAT). Included are also output data from the PLCI 2.0 model of a case study of Copenhagen region, Denmark, and Piemonte region, Italy.
