This study aims to screen bacterial consortia to form cobalt sulfide minerals. Bacterial consortia derived from marine sediments were grown in RCVBN medium and treated by 1 mM cobalt chloride and 1 mM natrium sulfate. Further, the consortia which showed positive result toward cobalt sulfide formation as well as its pre-treatment-version (consortial mother) were analyzed by using 16s rDNA method.
