The volcanic outcroppings at the head of the Aviator Glacier and the outcrops of the Campbell-Priestley Glaciers divide were investigated and geologically mapped to connect work completed in the 1961-62 season Northern and Southern field parties. Movement stakes were placed on the Aviator Glacier. Geological surveying was completed from the head of the Aviator Glacier, Navigator Nunatak, Campbell Glacier, Recoil Glacier, Browning Pass and Nansen Ice Sheet, the Boomerang Glacier and Mt Browning and the areas around Snowy Point, Cape Sastrugi, Black Ridge, Corner Glacier, Priestley Moraines and Vegetation and Inexpressible Island.
