Volkov, the No. 7 ranked fighter and former Bellator and M-1 Global heavyweight champion, had his six-fight win streak interrupted after losing to Derrick Lewis at UFC 229, but rebounded with a win against Greg Hardy last November.<br>One of the hot topics since UFC’s return has been the smaller Octagon used at UFC’s APEX facility. The numbers show a lower finish rate at the smaller Octagon compared to the bigger cage used at events in Jacksonville, Florida.<br>“The smaller cage favors Blaydes, without a doubt,” said ESPN’s Brett Okamoto. "It’s always going to favor wrestlers. You know what would favor Volkov? A technical, standup battle.
