The DBRX models are state-of-the-art mixture of experts (MoE) language models trained by Databricks.
The models provided in this listing are
- [dbrx_instruct](https://huggingface.co/databricks/dbrx-instruct): fine-tuned for instruction-based use cases. The model outperforms other state-of-the-art language models such as GPT-3.5 and Mixtral-8x7b on multiple benchmarks, and excels at a broad set of natural language tasks such as: text summarization, question-answering, extraction, and coding.
- [dbrx_base](https://huggingface.co/databricks/dbrx-base): pretrained generative text model that can be used for further fine-tuning on specific applications.
