EARLY PREDICTORS OF CLINICAL STABILIZATION IN A PEDIATRIC INTENSIVE CARE UNIT: A SINGLE-CENTER OBSERVATIONAL STUDY

Pediatric intensive care units care for critically ill children in whom early recognition of clinical stabilization is vital for effective management. This observational study included 42 patients admitted to the Intensive Care department of Fergana Regional Children's Multidisciplinary Medical Center and evaluated early clinical indicators associated with stabilization. Respiratory disorders were the most common reason for admission. Improvement in oxygenation and hemodynamic parameters within the first 48 hours was associated with earlier clinical stabilization, whereas persistent organ dysfunction was linked to delayed recovery.
