We will carry out high spectral resolution observations of the Large Magellanic Cloud with at least 12 antennas of the Australian SKA Pathfinder (ASKAP) telescope. This will be prefaced by a small pilot program (possibly starting with a smaller bandwidth) to prepare software and techniques. The data collected will primarily serve the GASKAP survey team but data products will be released into the CSIRO ASKAP Science Data Archive (CASDA) for general use.\r\n
