Digital Archive from an Archaeological Evaluation at Stotfold, Bedfordshire, February 2021

This collections consists of site images and GIS data from an archaeological evaluation at Stotfold (Phase 3), Central Bedfordshire. Works were conducted by Cotswold Archaeology in February 2021 to inform on a planning application for residential development. A total of 12 trenches were excavated. Archaeological remains were identified in two trenches. The remaining trenches were devoid of archaeology. Trench 6 recorded a ditch containing Early Iron Age pottery and Trench 11 recorded a ditch containing burnt and worked flint and a sherd of Roman pottery.
